Scotland met the South at Kate and Edgar’s June wedding at Kingston Presbyterian Church in Conway. The Murray and Bell clan tartans hung in the choir loft. Edgar, his son, and his brothers each wore a Murray tartan pocket square with Kate’s father and brother each wearing a Bell tartan pocket square. Local bagpiper Peggy Gaudreau provided music during the ceremony. Family played a big part in putting together the reception at a private residence. The blue and white summer afternoon garden party theme was designed and executed by Kate’s mother, Alys. The decor included lots of hydrangeas, Kate’s favorite flower, and her aunt uncle and aunt’s restaurants catered the event. The family helped decorate the tent and another aunt baked the wedding cake. These personal touches made the day even more special.
